My Story
I earned my NASM-CPT certification in 2011 and started as a personal trainer in the Washington, D.C. area, working with VIDA Fitness and Crunch Fitness. I trained people of every age, background, and fitness level.
In 2015, I moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and coached at Liv Fitness Clubs. When Hurricane Maria hit in 2017, life on the island was never quite the same, but I kept training and kept showing up. A year later, I went independent and built a community around weekly bootcamps.
When the pandemic hit, I took that community online and led virtual classes several times a week. Eventually, I burned out. So I made a change that surprised a lot of people: I enlisted in the U.S. Army. I served as a Signal Support Systems Specialist, and the Army brought me to Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Service sharpened what already drove my coaching: discipline, resilience, and keeping going when things get hard. When I medically retired in 2026, I decided to stay. Now I'm rebuilding ArgyleFitClub from scratch, right here in Lakewood/Tacoma. I know what it's like to rebuild: a new body, a new routine, and a new chapter. I help veterans, military families, and moms do the same, with coaching that fits real life.
